Founded in Auckland in September 2005 as a security contractor for a large nationwide security company, National Guards (formerly Marshal Security) quickly learned the importance of delivering guaranteed customer satisfaction. In 2015, we made the strategic decision to operate independently, pursuing new operations and clients. Our growth has been rapid, driven by consistently high client satisfaction and strong referrals.

Our staff includes trained security guards, crowd controllers, inquiry agents, personal protection operatives, assessors, and workplace trainers. We encourage multi-skilling and invest heavily in training.
All National Guards personnel hold:

- First Aid certification
- Successful criminal record and reference checks
- Medical clearance
- Signed confidentiality agreements, and policies covering human rights, equal opportunity, and occupational health and safety
