The Role of a National Guards Retail Officer

  • Observe, deter, and report suspicious or problematic activity

  • Prevent damage to client property and premises

  • Detect and manage anti-social behaviour before it escalates

  • Identify, apprehend, and process offenders when necessary

  • Advise management on security risks, fire safety, and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) hazards

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors
